March 2018, I sent my first blog.

My mission is to empower you with information, so you can make the financial decisions that provide you choice to determine your future. As per the Japanese Kaizen approach, we do the same within our business and look for constant improvement.

This weeks’ blog is a little different and broken into a few different sections.

Are we on our way to another property boom?
Property values seem to be climbing again, auction clearance rates remain strong, and interest rates are the lowest they have ever been. So, why are people not flocking to buy a property?
There isn’t much on the market, vendors have the liberty to wait as their loan commitments have reduced so they are in no hurry to sell, many people have also suggested that we are at the bottom of the market. So, why would you sell now if you think the value of your property is going to go up? My opinion is that we will have strong consistent growth over the next 18 months, however, don’t expect 75% increases.

Aren’t the banks throwing money at us again?
No, they are not. The truth is that the banks are willing to lend, however, will only lend to the right customer. Proving you are the right customer to the bank is a challenge these days. Our job as a broker is not only to match your circumstances with the best lender on the market but also help you with putting your best foot forward to the lender. The home loan application process is now really complex and that’s why more than 50% of loans are being written by brokers, as people do not want to go through the process on their own.

“I’m going to wake up at 5am and go to the gym”
I think I have said that about a million times… just in the last 2 months. The closest people around me are sick of hearing it, especially Arkadiusz our Financial Planner.
So, I am committing to this on a public domain so you too can pull me up if I don’t stick to my word and still look the same as per the picture above in 3 months.
